Mennell Watson

Mennell Watson is a British showjumper who has been competing successfully internationally since he was 18 years old. Together with his partner Helen Van Heyningen, Mennell Watson runs a competition and stud farm in the middle of the country on the outskirts of Solihull under the name of Euro Sport Horse. Euro Sport Horse have bred and produced numerous horses and horses bred by Mennell and Helen can often be seen at many prestigious shows all around the world.

In 1983 Mennell Watson rode Charlie Brummel at HOYS and won the Foxhunter final, Over his career Mennell Watson has had lots of horses, other horses include Decoded winner of the speed horse of the year at HOYS, grand prix winner Back In Business, Halida Du Rouet winner of the Grade C championship at HOYS, Uptons LB who Mennell was shortlisted for the 1996 Olympics.

Currently Mennell Watson has two outstanding stallions, both bred at Euro Sport Horse, Whisper in the Wind and Outcast. Mennell has been supported by Equiform for over 25 years.
